Hilditch Architect Inc. (HAI) has dedicated more than four decades to creating projects that help people break barriers to health and community services, affordable supportive housing and emergency shelter.

We work primarily with community-based, not-for-profit agencies serving the needs of our society around issues of poverty, physical & mental health, social justice, equity, and inclusion.

We have extensive experience in creating successful shelters, transitional housing, permanent affordable housing, as well as community spaces, early learning centres, community health centres, and multi-service hubs.

We have a reputation for building consensus among all stakeholders, promoting equality among stakeholders who may be marginalized and disenfranchised, and for delivering on all aspects of a project in both a timely and professional manner, with a dedication to making our projects environmentally and financially sustainable. We have a history of making projects happen and sticking with them with energy and passion, until they are fully realized.
